Forbes recently rated Collier County as number 1 in the US for where the rich are moving. In 2008 over 15,000 people moved into Collier County with an average income per person around $76,000. The average income of those who moved out of the county was $26,128 per person. The majority of people who moved into Collier County were from other parts of Florida, but it goes to show that Naples is still a very desirable place to live.
