Signs Point to A Busy Season
Overall home sales jumped 12% in the third quarter of 2012 in the Naples real estate market and inventory continues to decrease. Most of the increase took place in the $300,000 – $500,000 price range and in the $1 million to $2 million category.
“The Naples area has just moved from a buyers’ market to a buyers’ and sellers’ market with tremendous opportunities for both,” says Brenda Fioretti, NABOR’s media relations chairwoman. Also good news, the national median home price was up over the year-ago month for the seventh straight month per the National Association of Realtors. The median price in the region is up 13.1% from a year ago.
So now is a great time to take advantage of this upswing in the market.
