Naples Winter Wine Festival auction
The Naples Winter Wine Festival auction is an annually held auction which was created in 2001. The auction was created to benefit the poorest kids in Collier County. Every year many extravagant items put up for auction to try and fetch large sums of money for charity. Overall, there was a good turnout and this year over $5 million was raised to help poor kids within Collier County. A few of the items up for auction were:
Lot 44 – Two couples will be hosted by Chopard for three nights at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival. Also includes a couple of Chopard timepieces: $190,000
Lot 57 – A Two-week Australian odyssey for four through the continent’s premier wine regions: $140,000
Lot 27 – A 10-day Caribbean cruise aboard the 170-foot Feadship Yacht Dream for six couples: $350,000
Lot 22 – A Specially crafted 2009 Audi R8 sports car finished in Ibis white with black carbon-fiber side blades and a black Nappa leather trim: $150,000
