Golf Capital of the World
Naples boasts more golf holes per capita than anywhere else in the U.S. However, many other cities proclaim to be the Golf Capital of the country. The Golf Channel does put Naples in the top 7 finalists for the title.
The Crown Jewel
Naples is known as the Crown Jewel of Southwest Florida. It’s a hidden gem nestled in paradise with expansive powdery white beaches. It’s known for world-class shopping and dining.
Winter Wine Festival
The Naples Winter Wine Festival is ranked among the top 10 arts and entertainment events for wealthy Americans. This ranking by the Luxury Institute is based on exclusivity, quality, and prestige. It’s also been named the most successful charity wine festival in the nation. It attracts guests from all over the world. It raises money for the Naples Children & Education Foundation. In 2022, it raised nearly $22 million. Since it started in 2001, it has raised nearly $244 million.
It’s become an exclusive event with about 650 guests and tickets can be hard to get.
100-Year-Old Gardens
Caribbean Gardens, now Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens, celebrated 100 years as a botanical garden in 2019. Botanist Dr. Henry Nehrling was passionate about conservation and had more than 3,000 species of tropical plants in his “Tropical Garden.” Some plantings still remain today. In addition to the gardens, the area has been home to the zoo for more than 50 years. It’s a popular spot for locals and tourists. It’s located at 1590 Goodlette-Frank Rd, Naples, Florida, 34102.
Naples Art District
Did you know Naples has an Art District that features more than 80 working artists? The Naples Art District has developed into the largest concentration of professional working artist studios and galleries in Southwest Florida. It is bordered by Pine Ridge Road, Airport-Pulling Road, Taylor Road, and J and C Blvd.
